Watching
green dress on the TV always invite the youth of India to join the Indian Army
;meaning the other name of courage and valor. The green dress raises the
sense of pride in Indians for their role superior to anything and to old to
repent as to their failure or missing in their youth to enjoin the opportunity
to serve the nation through the Army. It is not service, but an
opportunity. It is a challenge open to bold and brave. It is amazing. The
name and fame go together. Besides, the presence of youth in green dress,
young, gentle, dexterous ,active and like a flashlight weaken the nerves
of the enemies and the scenes of the retaliatory action on 26th November
and climbing down through the ladder by the commando regiment personnel is
always alive and fresh in the mind .Their great work ,no doubt, takes the
nation to the height of the glory and achievement ,The UNO sends the Indian
army personnel on the peace mission in the world which the world recognizes the
contribution with a sense of pride and gratitude.
Indian
Army may be divided into two parts (1) Regular Army (2)Reserve Army. It has got
04 Regiment .
(-a-)The
Infantry Regiment -is called the most powerful part of the Army. It includes
Parachutes Regiment, Mechanized Infantry, Grenadier Regiment etc.
(b)Armed
Regiment-it is also very significant part. It includes 63Regiment.
(c)Artillery
Regiment-It is second largest part of the Army..The soldiers of this Regiment
have kneeled the enemies even in the highest glaciers like Siachin.
(c)Army
Aviation Core-It helps Army with all supplies even on the difficult terrain and
acts as supportive unit to increase the power of aggression and attack during
the war-time.
Besides,
There is Indian Army medical core .The Doctors with MBBS and other degree may
join directly with the rank of captain ,though depending upon the prescribed
procedure for the selection.
Anybody
may join the Army, provided he or she is passed with intermediate with the age
limit upto 19 years for NDA and graduate with the age in between 19
to 24 years through CDS. The examination is conducted by the Union Public
Service commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-1100069.The
advertisement is published in the Employment News and all the leading dailies
twice in a year.
The
examination is in two parts (a)Written Examination includes the English
,general Studies, general math,and other science subjects (b) SSB Interview .It
includes Psychological Tests ,Group discussion, Extempore Speech, Interview and
various other exercises aiming at the practical side of the candidate. Final recommendation
is after the medical Tests.
After
The Training conducted at Indian Military Academy Dehradoon ,provides a final
opportunity to enjoy with the same zeal and zest ,as we see the young
officers throwing their hates in the air on the final Passing out Parade Day.
Afterwards what we see in Nana Patekar as Commando, Sunny Deol in
Border,Karan Shergil in Lakshya and of course Mega Star Amitabh bachhan in
Major Saab may too bring our dreams come true.
