During my experience of working as the Principal  of Govt. IAS/PCS competitive Preparation Center and with the result oriented approach learnt ,I came to this conclusion that the candidates in the North  basically suffers because of lack of proper guidance expected to be taken before a start.The first step is to take the expertise guidance either through the Good center or those selected in the service.The experience gained by me convinces that the General Studies create a problem.Even if there is better preparation,the imbalanced approach in the preparation is reflected on the candidates. Sometimes,Areas of interest pay a lot ,whereas the uncooked materials or partly prepared put forth a challenge.For example,the northern candidates find it difficult while preparing the history of south India ,or vice- versa, In the same way,the science background make it suffering in the arts stream or ice versa.This year about 10 lakhs students appeared,in such a difficult situation ,even a single point has its say.During our student life,the books or the guidance from the experts were the only approach and it consumed a major portion of the time ,but now technology has made the availability of the materials easy and not only so,the Information explosion is another challenge,in the sense that all the material can not be prepared,but that what is important involves three steps;- namely--Selection of the materials.(2)then,Collection and (3) Preparation with the regular intervals of assessment period.The well-defined strategy is further involved.I feel that this is not difficult to get through ,but coming out with the flying colors out of 10 lakh candidate is no less a big surprise.

To make it a surprise,definitely,Hard work as well as strategy play an important role.So far as ,General studies are concerned,other than factual questions ,the distance in between most appropriate and appropriate makes difference.For that,really ,practice too is important.

This is really a good news that the free and fare election held in the J&K very recently proved the maturity of the electorate and surprisingly more than 77% people turned out for the voting,ranging from 70% to 89%.This is a big defeat for the separatist and complete failure for the foreign agents who make much hue and cry all the time.The separatist killed many a innocent people .Their game was basically related to killing the people of other religion and give the muslim identity to the state and with the help and support from Pakistan ,they felt that they would be a success.The separatist issued the warnings that the people must remain to their home and boycott the election,But the brave people of J&K cared for nothing and came forward participating in the election process and made it a success.The alertness on the part of our armed forces and unearthing of the mass of weapons before and during the election deserve not only praise ,but thanks from the whole nation.Our strength is our people who bring the change.The people enjoy the real freedom and understand their own power.The democratic temperament remains in the blood.

The message given by the President of America T.Roosevelt clearly indicates that the positive approach in life always brings success and this is true too.When I was student,I read an article published in the Sarvottam Readers Digest that an American amateur prepared a list of about 160 targets of his life during his childhood days.When grown up ,he shared them with all.Leaving a few like his wish to visit moon etc was not a success,But what he got ,he felt satisfied.The Indian philosophy also emphasis the fact that win-win situation leads us,if we take a pledge and according to the nature of the field of the choice,work and energy is utilized.Besides,too the Opportunity comes at the doorstep of everyone,those asleep faces a lot of problems and repentance in life ,whereas those awaken make the most of the this and becomes the icon of others too.The Indian prime Minister Modiji is one of the example,who once made the arrangement for the journalist for a programme,has today lakhs of journalist just for click of him and feel proud of having a talk with him.

No doubt,in the age of management,we undertake other projects and try our level best for the success,the same case lies with the life also.This is great Project where we have to include personal excellence,Professional commitment and Service to Society keeping in mind this great statement as narrated by someone,"The excellent  mind innovate and implement the ideas,Average mind discuss the events and poor mind discuss the people".The secret to success lies here ".Like Julius Ceaser,one has to think,"I came,I saw and I conquered".and to further it in the words of Robert browning,"I was ever a fighter,So one fight more".Hence,good we think and good we do and Let us rest assured,Goodness with brilliant success shall come to us."
